Peer Review Process

SCOPE – Journal of Multidisciplinary Research in Technology, Organization and Innovation applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality and scientific integrity of all published manuscripts.

Review Procedure

  1. Initial Editorial Screening
    The Editor-in-Chief conducts an initial evaluation of the manuscript to assess its relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, methodological soundness and compliance with submission guidelines.
  2. Double-Blind Review
    Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
    The identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.
  3. Evaluation Criteria
    • Originality and contribution to the field
    • Theoretical and methodological rigor
    • Relevance to the journal’s thematic scope
    • Clarity and structure of the manuscript
    • Practical and applied value (where applicable)
  4. Editorial Decision
    Based on reviewers’ reports, the Editor-in-Chief may decide:
    • Accept
    • Minor revisions
    • Major revisions
    • Reject

The average review period is approximately 4–8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability.

The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.

 

Publication Ethics

SCOPE adheres to internationally recognized standards of publication ethics and follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authors’ Responsibilities

Authors must:

  • Submit original work that has not been previously published
  • Properly cite all sources
  • Ensure the accuracy of data and results
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest
  • Confirm that all listed authors have contributed significantly

Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification and duplicate submission are strictly prohibited.

Reviewers’ Responsibilities

Reviewers must:

  • Provide objective and constructive evaluations
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Disclose conflicts of interest
  • Complete reviews within agreed deadlines

Editors’ Responsibilities

Editors must:

  • Ensure impartial and fair review
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Prevent conflicts of interest
  • Take appropriate action in cases of misconduct

In cases of ethical misconduct, the journal reserves the right to retract published articles.

SCOPE is a fully open-access journal.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

This license permits unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Authors retain copyright of their work.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Currently, the journal does not charge any submission or publication fees.
